Just as you’ve spent years becoming experts in your field, we’ve invested the last twenty-five years learning the ins and outs of the fastener industry, developing relationships with manufacturers all over the globe.

Benjamin Mol

You could say nuts and bolts run in Ben’s DNA. At the age of twelve, he started working for the family fastener distribution company, making cardboard boxes, packaging fasteners, and sorting mixed parts from the platers. From there, he advanced through the company and learned different aspects of the business by also working in quality control and customer service.

Ben attended Calvin University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. From there, he sought to combine his love for the family business with his ability to crunch numbers and his passion for sales, first working as an International Sourcing Specialist for a large fastener importer in New Jersey, then moving back to Grand Rapids to join the family fastener company as a Lead Sales Manager. He spent ten years in that role until the company was sold. His various roles over the years have fueled his love for leadership, international travel, and researching best business practices that can positively impact his company and his customers. But what really energizes Ben most are the relationships he has developed with both his suppliers and clients.

Ben and his wife Rebekah live in Hudsonville, MI with their four young boys. When he’s not chasing his kids around, Ben enjoys being active, playing beach volleyball and golf. He’d love to set up a first meeting on the fairway.

Scott Terrill

Prior to joining Grand River Supply as a partner in 2020, Scott spent twenty years in the fastener industry where he was directly involved in management, sourcing, production and development. He has a strong background in international relations and supply chain management. Scott established his own company in 2017, prior to his current venture and the launch of Grand River Supply.

In his twenty years in the industry, Scott has fostered excellent relationships, contacts, and a trustworthy network of suppliers.

Scott is a 2001 graduate of Villanova University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. At Villanova, Scott met and married his wife Amy. They have three children and reside in Little Silver, New Jersey.

In addition to creating his own business, Scott is active in the Little Silver community and involved with the academic and extracurricular activities of his children. Scott’s passion for his business is only equaled by his passion for skiing and his favorite city of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
